[ Rex is doing a lot of talking and explanation that Mark wasn't expecting, and in most cases, he would enjoy this, but it's a lot. He allows the older teen to talk, idly toying with the bun until he loosens it, allowing those fiery locks to fall and settle against Rex's broad shoulders. Mark didn't say or give any indication that he was wanting Rex to do most of the work here, but it makes sense considering he's the more experienced of the two. Still, Rex may see Mark wrinkle at his nose at the assumption.
